Old School New School is hosted every year in St Mel's College in the heart of Longford. Being from Dublin I never had the opportunity to travel to the midlands to attend. Summer 2025 was the first time I had my license which enabled me to go where I pleased. With the sun shining and me having the rare opportunity of not having to go to work, I took the opportunity given to head down for a look.
The college is a fantastic venue to host a show, the variety of cars, the different backdrops, music and entertainment just add to the day. Having just left school, I had always wanted to host a show or organise a meet in school to see what it looked like and OSNS delivered the perfect reality of the idea. Niall has the show so dialled in and I have to hand it to him.
The variety of cars was fantastic too. Something for everyone. It was a great opportunity for to catch up with so many friends I hadn't seen in months due to studying the dreaded Leaving Cert. The show stands for the select few cars is something different and should be done at other shows. Looking forward to Sunday July 12th for Old School New School 2026.
