When I called down to shoot Dave's JZX110 MKii, he told me that Lee was gonna come along in his fresh Evo 9. Not thinking much of it, I wasn't expecting what I saw.
I've known of Lee for the last couple of years. Same story as with Dave, spoke to him on the likes of instagram but never in person. He used to own a savage (dream of mine) sunroof model JZX100 MKii, that's how I originally learnt about him. Since then he's owned big power 5's to M4's but now he's back with this.
Lee has spent the last 5 years completely restoring this FQ 340. I can't put into words how clean and fresh everything is on this. Every nut, bolt, bushing, rubber trim, brakes etc are brand new. Probably the cleanest car I've ever seen, genuinely. Everything is immaculate, you name it, it'll be brand new.
It's hard to capture on camera how new everything is. The paint is flawless and underneath is completely restored, no half measures here.
The car isn't heavily modified as you see with majority of the Evo's in the country. Has a Tomei exhaust and turbo, that's it. Sits on the perfect wheel for a 9 too.
The car is a credit to Lee, something that deserves to be on display in a museum. Thank you Lee for allowing me to shoot it, not as much writing with this one, I'll just let all the photos do the talking. Thanks to anyone who's read this far, hope you enjoyed // Noah
